Summary

During science this week we reviewed dependent and independent variables. We also explored the scientific method. One of the projects we did in lab is called the whirly-bird. I learned a lot and understood a lot more about variables in science.I also learned what the scientific method was and how it can help you when you are doing a science report.

SP3: Planning and carrying out investigations

The whirly- bird is an experiment using the cutout show to the right, and cutting the body to a shorter length to see if it will go slower or faster. What I learned in lab was even if its shorter, it may go the same speed, depending if they are about the same weight.
